About Me:

Thank you for visiting my profile.  My name is David Avaness and I have been in the field of education since 1998. I began my career in elementary education in 2002 and 2004 with Los Angeles Unified School District.  I have been at Andasol since 2010 and what an amazing experience it has been.  Having lived in the Granada Hills area since 1995, I truly enjoy playing a role in my community here at Andasol. I have many interests that include music, art, science, technology, and exotic animals. But, I also have a passion for helping which is what brought me into this field.  I really hope to make a difference in my students' lives and am available to discuss anything that you feel would be helpful in our journey this year.  Please do not hesitate to contact me by using the email link or ClassDojo when you are added to our class page.
